I know the problem Laura!
FURTHER to the letter from Laura Harrison re the No. 35 bus (Dear Star), can I explain as I have been on the bus twice and seen her problem.
Unwelcome show reminder
IT has been almost a month now since the St Helens Show, sorry, St Helens Shambles, was on and as I live just up the road from what used to be a lovely park I go to the park most days with my pet dog.
Is anyone else fed up with all the junk mail?
IS anybody else on the Newbold estate and other areas in St Helens fed up of having junk leaflets put through their doors?
I'm not Superwoman
AM I the only St Helens mum who finds catching a bus with a young toddler an absolute nightmare?
How about cat wardens?
I HAVE been informed the council has dog wardens daily terrorising man's best friend from 7am to 7pm. This is an outrage.
Remedy must be tough for yobs
I AM writing in connection with the letter headed 'Hard lads will get come-uppance' (Dear Star, August).
The spy in the bin...
HAVING read in the national press about some local councils microchipping wheelie bins in order to record how much each household has in waste, I was concerned to read that the 'chips' contain details of who lives in each household etc.
Make it safe
I AM writing to you in the hope that you could show the public of St Helens that the local council do not care about the people of the town, especially in the area that I live.
Poppy praise
THATTO Heath Royal British Legion branch would like to thank all the people of St Helens and the collectors and distributors of the poppies in St Helens and outlying districts for the gallant effort they have put in over the years.
